About

In 2014, Cale K4CDN launched "The Fo Time Amateur Radio Podcast" which is now known as Ham Radio 360.  Along the way, Cale brought George KJ6VU and Jeremy KF7IJZ along for the ride to help share knowledge on amateur radio and introduce new hams to new aspects of the hobby.

At the Dayton Hamvention in 2016 Cale, George, and Jeremy all met in person for the first time.  They had had the distinct honor of meeting many of their listeners and hearing their stories and about their interests.  That very weekend, the trio realized that there was an opportunity to launch a new podcast to introduce our community to the making/tinkering/DIY/electronics aspect of ham radio.  On July 5, 2016 the first episode of The Ham Radio Workbench was posted.

The Ham Radio Workbench Podcast serves as a means to introduce hams of all ages to the excitement and creativity of making in amateur radio.  George and Jeremy educate and inspire hams to explore electronics, software, and radio through experimentation with things such as Arduino, Raspberry Pi, and custom built projects for the Workbench listeners.
